Sculpture
"Swap Shop" is part of an exhibit traveling around the Boston Area. The tzedakah box is a small box in which Jewish people traditionally collect loose change to be donated to the needy. “Be the Change” is a public art movement reimagining tzedakah, bringing together 6 artists to create public sculptures that illuminate the pressing issues of our time.
My piece asks “Why do we have so much stuff?” I hope that my sculpture will create intrigue— to make people think about small actions they can make in their daily lives and connect with a larger actions that address the source of pollution. Bring an object to donate or visit www.jewisharts.org to take action.
